The Role

As our Sales Controller, you will have the unique opportunity to work in a fast-growing startup which operates across multiple locations. One of your projects will be to implement sales controlling processes and provide the management with valuable insights to make informed decisions. You will have the opportunity to shape the whole area and assist during the implementation of a data warehouse solution and BI tools. Ideal candidates adapt quickly to new environments, want to be challenged by their work and are able to handle multiple tasks at once without losing the big picture. Your Responsibilities

  • Development and optimization of sales KPIs

  • Controlling support for pre- and post-sales as well as marketing projects (including success control, deviation analyses and sales productivity optimization measures)

  • Creation of annual and rolling forecasts in close coordination with sales and delivery management and analyze plan/actual variances

  • Carrying out ad hoc analyses for the sales, delivery and finance teams

  • Calculation of performance targets and monthly monitoring

  • Support in the preparation of customer offers and alignment with group guidance

  • Ensure data quality in Salesforce CRM

Your Profile

  • B.Sc. or equivalent in a business-focused study program

  • 2-5 years of work experience in financial planning or sales controlling in a fast-growing company, ideally in an industrial environment

  • Basic knowledge of German GAAP (HGB); US GAAP is a plus

  • Excellent MS Office skills, especially MS Excel; Prior work with BI tools

  • Experience working with Salesforce CRM or similar tools

  • Analytical and numbers-driven working style combined with a good business acumen

  • Strong teamwork, precise and structured working style with high accountability for everything you do

  • Full working proficiency in English
