As a Lead Software Developer, you will work collaboratively with enthusiastic engineers, testers, architects and product designers to breathe life into our new product. We expect you to be a tech-savvy professional, who is curious about new digital technologies and aspires to combine usability with a solid backend. Ultimately, you should be able to create a functional and attractive digital environment for you and your team - adding or changing functionality should be as easy as to bring these changes to our customers. You will mentor an agile full-stack team, while being in close contact with other teams and product managers.
Mentor your team-mates and offer help when needed. They know you will be the last instance for the hard problems if needed.
Act like their role model and deliver beautiful, performant and bulletproof code. You will be their proud code quality gatekeeper.
As “customer is king”, get feedback from, and build solutions for users and customers. Interacting with the other lead developers and the architect is as normal as giving high-quality feedback to PMs and POs.
Research and selection of libraries and frameworks is part of being the tech influencer for your team and product. On a larger scale, you huddle up with the other lead developers and the architect to shape our future tech stack.

A degree in an IT-related subject and 7+ years of experience in software development
You are a real fullstack developer who feels confident to touch backend and databases (Java, SQL & NoSQL) as much as frontend technologies (React or Angular 2+, TypeScript, Node.js & D3.js)
You are a SaaS lover who can tackle problems in a holistic way.
Experience with cloud-native applications (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker) and ability to tune our CI pipelines (Gitlab, Jenkins) if needed
You have the tool- and mindset to be the foundation of a full stack team operating with scrum.
Full working proficiency in English
You are not a solid full-stack developer. We do not need a frontend or backend expert, but someone able to deal with both.
You never touched AWS or GCP. As we build our products on public cloud infrastructure, we need people who know how to deal with that situation. Same is valid if you never touched K8s.
