As a Regional Sales Director for Western Europe (France, Belgium and Luxembourg) at KONUX, you will be responsible for growing the business and managing the client relationship with your accounts at different management levels, defining and executing sales strategies, and managing and winning contracts. Ideal candidates possess strong hunting skills, passion for sales, and a high level of perseverance. In this position, you will be part of our Global Sales team and report to the Sales Director Europe.
Close high-value revenue opportunities and generate new sales that will turn into long-lasting trustful relationships
Create relationships with new customers and expand relationships with existing ones by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives and needs
Define and execute sales account plans and strategies for large and complex accounts with a variety of stakeholders
Define and execute strategies for public tendering processes and offerings to ensure long term business growth
Manage public affairs and lobbying towards national and local public entities in collaboration with the KONUX management
Work closely with other KONUX teams to ensure project success and expansion of the account
Extensive experience in Sales or Account Management
5+ years of experience in selling technological solutions and complex systems to railway companies
Expertise in negotiating deals with key departments of public or state-owned organizations in France and/or Belgium, and extensive personal network in the railway industries
Ability to understand customer issues, the KONUX product and technology, and to map both to propose a meaningful solution to customers
Structured working methods and result-oriented attitude, as well as experience in working with distributed teams
Relentless work ethic, tireless enthusiasm for the mission, and eternally positive outlook
Excellent French skills, preferably French native speaker or native-like, and excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
