The Role

As the Engineering Program Manager, you will be tasked with coordinating KONUX product releases across the organization. You are equally comfortable with continuous deployed server software, agile development processes and delivering hardware products. You will gain a detailed understanding of the systems development, test scope, and dependencies. You create development plans and schedules for teams and successfully manage execution ensuring exceptional product performance and customer experience. You have a knack for keeping complex dependencies visible and on track across different development processes and timelines. You enjoy facilitating information flow from stakeholders to the development and testing engineers ensuring higher level expectations are fully met by detailed specifications of individual development and testing tasks. You foresee obstacles and see it as your mission to clear the path for the team to deliver quality products beating ambitious timelines.

Your Responsibilities

  • Responsible for clear and concise presentation of engineering teams’ progress on release plans and roadmaps
  • Leading short and long-term development projects including requirements definition, UI design, implementation, quality assurance, continuous deployment/product releases, and production support
  • Keeping all stakeholders and engineers informed of current engineering priorities and activities
  • Create detailed, ambitious project schedules and deliver to commitments with an ability to see all interdependencies for every deliverable and milestone
  • Identify critical path tasks in the schedule and ensure any issue gets resolved in time, raise visibility on any deviation from plan early
  • Challenge, inspire and motivate team to deliver on plans
  • Grasp complex technical topics, identify, document and track key issues and risks
  • Develop a quality focus in others by establishing clear requirements and measuring key outcomes

Your Profile

  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or another relevant field
  • 5+ years working experience in a technical development environment and 2 years project leadership experience
  • Experience in technical cross team coordination
  • Experience in industrial large-scale systems
  • Strong system-level thinking
  • Ability to identify and track complex dependencies across multiple internal and external teams
  • Extensive knowledge in Project Management tools, Agile development, JIRA ...
  • Flexibility and availability to work under pressure to ensure client deliveries are on time, within budget and meet identified specifications
  • Experience in working with a wide variety of people and personalities in a distributed team
