The Role

As a Key Account Director for Eastern Europe at KONUX, you will be responsible for growing the
business and managing the client relationship with your account at different management levels,
defining and executing sales strategies, managing and winning public tenders. Ideal candidates
possess strong hunting skills, passion for sales and a high level of persistence. In this position, you willbe part of the global sales team and report to the VP Sales. You will be either based in the KONUX
headquarters in Munich or remotely in any other country of the Eastern European region.

Your Responsibilities

  • Close high-value revenue opportunities and generate new sales that will turn into long-lasting trustful relationships
  • Define and execute sales account plans and strategies for large and complex accounts with a variety of stakeholders
  • Refine and execute strategies for public tendering processes and pricing to ensure long-term business growth
  • Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives and needs
  • Work closely with the KONUX customer delivery and success team to ensure project success and expansion of the account
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics
  • Manage public affairs and lobbying towards national and local public entities in collaboration with the KONUX management

Your Profile

  • Extensive experience in Sales or Account Management
  • 5+ years experience in selling IoT solutions and complex systems to railway companies
  • Expertise negotiating deals with purchase departments of public or state-owned organizations in Eastern Europe
  • Solid project management skills
  • Ability to understand customer issues, the KONUX product and technology and to map both in order to be able to propose a meaningful solution to the customer
  • Team player and experience in working with distributed team
  • Extensive personal network of stakeholders in the railway industry
  • Working methods are structured, accurate and result-oriented
  • Relentless work ethic, tireless enthusiasm for the mission and eternally positive outlook
  • Native speaker in either Czech, Polish or Ukrainian language and excellent written and verbal communications skills in English
