As a Senior Business Development Manager Americas at KONUX, you will identify potential client relationships and business opportunities to ensure the company’s future growth in the North American market. Furthermore, you will be responsible for building and developing trustful relationships with strategic partners within the railway industry. Ideal candidates possess strong hunting skills, a passion for sales and a high level of persistence. In this position, you will be part of the global sales team and report to the VP Sales.
Develop the market opportunity for KONUX within the US and Canadian markets
Define and execute a partnership strategy and Go-to-Market for the target markets
Leverage the existing resources to define and establish the best setup for the target markets
Work closely with the management of Sales & Marketing, Customer Delivery & Success and Product Management teams to understand and adapt to the North American market, customer needs, regulation, and business culture, etc.
Identify and manage suitable partners for KONUX within the supplier industry of rail and internet services
Negotiate, manage and develop trustful partnerships, define and execute a business plan with each partner
Demonstrate proactive ability in reaching executive and convincing decision makers for the innovation work that KONUX does
Control and communicate the new business funnel, provide accurate and timely reporting of all new project opportunities
Achieve annual revenue contribution goals and new client acquisition targets
A strong background in premium consulting sales with a proven track record in doing successful business development
5+ years experience in a comparable position in the railway industry with a strong personal network
Sales DNA and passion for selling
A solid business acumen
Structured, accurate and result-oriented working style
Team player and experience in working with a distributed team
Relentless work ethic, tireless enthusiasm for the mission
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
