MUNICH, Germany. The Munich-based AI startup KONUX is strengthening its team with an experienced Product Manager: US-American Erin Horbach has started as Director of Product Management. In her role, Erin is responsible for leading the product team, defining the future product strategy and the product roadmap.
Erin Horbach previously worked for the software company SAP for a total of 13 years in various positions, beginning in Germany in the area of business processes and SAP implementation in medium-sized companies. After moving to Palo Alto, California, Erin served as Solution Lead and later as Director of Product Management for new applications on SAP HANA database technology. In 2016, she moved to the IT company IBM, where she most recently worked as Senior Offering Manager in IBM’s Watson Internet of Things Division.
Her goal at KONUX, according to Erin Horbach, is to work closely with the management team and board to "expand the product organization and portfolio so that KONUX can develop and deliver world-class solutions for the rail industry”. The strong entrepreneurial spirit in the company, the deep industry and technology expertise and the wide range between very young employees and colleagues with decades of management experience made the KONUX team particularly attractive, Erin added.
KONUX’ CEO Andreas Kunze said: "Erin has proven for two global companies that she knows how to successfully introduce innovative products into mature markets. Her experience in the area of software applications for business process optimization fits perfectly with our strategy of product portfolio expansion. She has worked with startups and global corporations, knows about IIoT, and puts customer value and trust at the center of her work. We are very pleased that Erin is further strengthening our team".
KONUX will expand its team this year by more than 25 new employees in different areas. See all open positions here.
