KONUX and Smart Motors: Focusing on creating more value for our final users

Smart Motors, like KONUX, is a company specialising in real-time monitoring and data analytics for the railway sector. The collaboration between KONUX and  Smart Motors began as a product partnership with KONUX Switch integrating Smart Motor’s specialised hardware for point machine monitoring across key projects in both Spain with ADIF and in Italy with FNM. The partnership enabled the integration of critical data generated by Smart Motors, applied KONUX’s AI-driven analytics, and delivered insights to railway operators. By coupling KONUX Switch’s data processing expertise with  Smart Motor’s hardware expertise, the partnership was able to create more value infrastructure managers.

KONUX and One Big Circle: Condition Monitoring with Visual Data for Our End Users

One Big Circle (OBC), is a leading technology company, specialising in intelligent video solutions for the rail industry. In July 2024, KONUX partnered with OBC to integrate our predictive maintenance technology with their train-borne Automated Intelligent Video Review (AIVR) System. The partnership with OBC demonstrates the value of providing condition monitoring and video/image data in a single click. The ambition was to deliver a holistic integrated approach to engineers, providing detailed AIVR imagery of the switches and crossings (S&C) aligned to real world data from assets being remotely monitored by KONUX Switch devices.

This partnership is about providing our customers with visual insights into track conditions and helping them with data-driven decision-making without always having to be physically present on the track.
