MUNICH, Germany KONUX strengthens its operations with a renowned international rail industry expert: As of July 1, Huschke Diekmann will assume the newly created role of Head of Sales at the Munich-based AI scale-up and has also been appointed – alongside CEO Adam Bonnifield and Chief Revenue Officer Andreas Busemann – as Managing Director of the German KONUX entity. Huschke previously served as CEO of Hübner Group’s rail division.

Huschke Diekmann has more than 20 years of experience in the field of railway technology. During his tenure at Hübner Group he developed the rail business further by expanding the product range and the establishment of a global rail organisation. Prior to Hübner Group, Huschke had served as managing director at Wabtec/GE Transportation. In this position, he was responsible among other things for the company’s business development in Europe, Russia, North Africa and the Middle East. Previously he had spent 14 years at Siemens, last as CTO Mobility, ensuring growth as well as developing and opening up new business areas.
Huschke described his motivation to join KONUX as follows: "I’ve known KONUX from the beginning and we had several touch points over the years. I am a strong believer in the success of the company’s solutions and now is the right timing to roll out their products – rail infrastructure must become reliable again."
