The Role

We are looking for an empathetic and forward-thinking Head of Product Management to join our close-knit team. As the Head of Product Management at KONUX, you will report to the VP of Product & Engineering and will be responsible for managing, growing and mentoring a motivated team of product managers, ux designers, and business analysts. We are looking for someone who loves developing people and processes as much as they love defining products. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills and a product management background. Experience in railway industry is required. Also hands-on knowledge regarding (I)IoT solutions, including AI and Machine Learning will contribute to our vision:

Your Responsibilities

  • You will elevate the ways of working within the product management team, ensuring clear scope and goal setting as well as identifying bottlenecks and knowledge gaps

  • Empowering personal development of team members (career perspectives, coaching, training) by building trustful relationships with all individuals

  • Managing workload and capacity planing, assuring that all timelines and quality standards are met

  • Communication with internal stakeholders, ensuring clear priorities and a company-wide alignment

  • Supporting senior members of the team in their role as mentors towards less experienced team members

Your Profile

  • Experience in a comparable role within railway industry or closely related to railway industry (3+ years)

  • Experience in leading and developing a product team (3+ years mentorship & management experience)

  • Experience in Product Management (5+ years), including all phases of the product life cycle

  • Experience in working with technical products (Software, Embedded Systems, Industrial, (I)IoT) in an agile startup environment

  • You are a natural leader, dedicated to empowering those around you

  • You are fluent in English (other languages are a plus)
